My husband and I go to a lot of concerts and really enjoy music. Our tastes are vast, but we are rooted in classic rock and roll, peppered with punk, new wave, alternative and some contemporary music. You should probably know if there is only room in the life raft for five bands, they would be the Foo Fighters, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cure, The Flaming Lips, and Pearl Jam...and Patti Smith. I know that's six. If I could push it to 7, Robert Plant too. If I could manage 8...

Everlong - Foo Fighters
One of my favorite rock and roll moments of all time - Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters at RFK Stadium - first concert after Dave broke his leg falling off the stage and continued to play with a paramedic holding his broken leg. The whole stadium was shaking - what a rush.
